Good morning, everyone! I was alerted yesterday that YouTube had terminated my channel. The reason appears to be because claims against two of my AliExpress videos. They do not give much information, and generally give 5 strikes. Came as a surprise in the way this was handled, and I have appealed.
I do not know what this means for the future of my videos. I hope and pray that they reinstate my channel, if not...I don't know how to continue. I suppose I could put videos here, and not use YouTube at all.
I will keep you all posted, thank you so much to everyone who has messaged support through my other social media. If you can send an email or notice to YouTube on my behalf, I would greatly appreciate it! The channel name was VianneyCreates, but the url was http://www.youtube.com/vianneylu1

ReplyDeleteHi, I always liked your videos. I hope it all works out for you. I just searched YouTube for "Vianney craft" and a few of your videos came up under other random profiles. Looks like stolen videos to me. Ridiculous. I hope you can get some justice for that also. How can other people post your videos while yours gets terminated? Terrible.. Good luck.

This is an absolute outrage, punished for showing what you bought? Sweet Jesus half of you tube should be terminated then and I guess we'd better all go around naked in case someone sees the clothes we bought! You tube is quick to make a buck from your hard work by adding ads to videos but throws you straight under the bus when they have a chance. Seems they are still taking from you even though they have booted your channel as they are still making ad revenue from your videos by allowing stolen ones to exist on other channels. One is the video about your cease and desist letter. They are taking advantage of people looking for you or info on your channel to gain by placing ads on these stolen videos. I guess it's ok for you tube to allow others to steal your intellectual property as long as it's profitable. The whole thing makes me wild. I'm so very sorry you are being punished.
ReplyDeleteA few years back, you posted a few videos about the Singer, Model 5 - Futura Quintet 5 in 1 Embroider/Sewing Machine. You made the cutest cupcake bib and a burp cloth. Do you still use this machine? I haven't been able to find very many how to sew out designs for this machine. Was this machine discontinued or considered a not very good machine? I'm sorry that YouTube has terminated your account and videos. Your videos were excellent! And I miss watching your nail craft! I sincerely hope you are reinstated and I'll soon see you on YouTube again. Good luck.
